First Choice Day Opportunity is are based in Holy Trinity Church, Fingerpost we open at times to suit our clients however our core times are Monday-Friday 10am until 4.pm.
Our mission is to provide a high quality day care service with opportunities for adults with a physical disability, this is customer lead. We respect that everyone is an individual with individual needs.
We are an established day care provider managed by Lynn Tierney who previously worked for 22 years as a Day Centre Officer for St Helens MBC. Lynn worked mainly at the former Windle Pilkington House, but also at Kershaw and Stevenson Day Centres.
Well known, within the social care community experience in all Day care activities and has forged partnerships with private and voluntary organisations, such as Adult Learning Council, Carers Support Group and Pilkington allotments.
First Choice Day Opportunity is a St. Helens Council Adult Social Care and Health Day Care Services Accredited Provider. List of Accredited Providers.

Working with people with a physical and sensory disability we assist customers to achieve a better and more enriched life and support people to develop new skills by building on existing strengths.
We provide a variety of activities these including Baking, Cooking, Arts/Crafts, Model making Needle work Sewing, Card making Bingo Sessions Computer games, Quizzes, Day Trips and many more.
You can access First Choice Day Opportunity through Direct Payment so after you have met us the next port of call should be your Social Services department.
